Australian Charity Awards 2017
The QCoal Foundation has been recognised as a Winner for Outstanding Achievement in The Australian Charity Awards for 2017.
The award primarily recognises the Foundation’s commitment to the RFDS Dental Service and the strong patient and community outcomes flowing from that program. In addition, the award acknowledges the Foundation’s commitment to regional and remote Queensland communities.
QCoal Foundation Chair Christopher Wallin said the QCoal Foundation was very proud to receive this national recognition.
“This award acknowledges the Foundation’s role as a Founding Partner of the RFDS Dental Service and endorses our social venture approach to support community resilience and program sustainability,” Mr Wallin said.
“The social venture approach and focus on program outcomes and sustainability has been further endorsed by the recent Commonwealth Government commitment to funding the RFDS Dental Service to continue to deliver for Queenslanders.”
“The Australian Charity Awards 2017 are proud to acknowledge the role of charitable organisations in Australia and commend the eight organisations recognised for the execution of innovative initiatives that have significantly benefited charitable causes,” Australian Charity Awards Program Director, Ms Tara Johnston, said.
The Australian Charity Awards provide organisations with the opportunity to raise the awareness of their important causes by having their projects, initiatives, contributions and achievements recognised through a national recognition program.
